Robbers banged a jewellery shop and escaped with gold and cash

The Stellar News: Burglars attacked at the jewellery shop on Bhamian Road, Ludhiana. They grabbed 25,000 rupees, gold and silver jewellery worth Rs. 20 Lakh on Friday.

Bappa, employee of the shop opened the shop in the morning and found that the shop was despoiled. He informed to Pawan Kumar, shop owner, when Mr. Kumar came to the shop and found jewellery and cash was missing from the safe.

According to Additional deputy commissioner of the police Rajveer Singh, the robbers entered in the shop from rooftop by breaking the locks and grills. Police also found LPG cylinder, which was used by the robbers to cut the locks.

Forensic team and dog squad investing the clues and fingerprints in order to find the thieves. But the CCTV cameras of the shop were not functioning since January 24. The police checking the CCTV footages of cameras installed on the nearby shops.
