ABOHAR (The Stellar News): On 27th March’ 2022, during wee hours alert Border Security force troops observed suspicious movement of 02 miscreants ahead of Border Security Fence, in area of Abohar sector, district Fazilka. BSF troops challenged and fired 03 rounds.

Miscreants managed to flee away taking cover of standing crops and darkness. On search of the area 08 pkts of contraband items suspected to be Heroin (Gross weight – 7.895 kgs) were recovered and were handed over to Narcotics Control Bureau. Vigilant BSF troops had once again foiled the nefarious attempts of antinational elements to smuggle contraband. BSF is committed in fight against drugs.
