Jalandhar (The Stellar News): On 21st May’ 2022 ‘Anti-Terrorism Day’ was observed at Frontier HQrs, BSF, Jalandhar as well as in all Units / Sectors / Establishment under Punjab Frontier.On this occasion Shri Asif Jalal, IPS, IG, BSF Punjab Frontier, administered integrity pledge to the Officers, Subordinate Officers and all Jawans at Ftr HQrs, BSF Jalandhar to fight against terror.
IG, BSF Punjab Frontier highlighted the significance of the day and emphasized on the importance for all to understand the menace that terror can create. “We should work to safeguard the unity and integrity of the country and to work for communal harmony and peace” he said.
Every year May 21st is observed as Anti-Terrorism Day with the objective to wean away the youth from terrorism and the cult of violence.
