Phagwara (The stellar news): Faculty of Liberal Arts GNA University organised a 2 day workshop on ‘Art of Effective Academic Writing’. The resource person of the Workshop was Ms. Gurpreet Kaur, the Internationally acclaimed Freelancer. The objective behind the Workshop was to make the aspirants apprise about the nuances of LSRW skills and the art of effective writing skills. Ms. Gurpreet Kaur, the resource person of the Workshop channelized her energies in making the target audience aware about the nuances of easy language acquisition, whereas day two was totally devoted on the art of effective academic writing. The resource person made the students participate in various activities based on fluent and easy speaking and effective and artful writing skills.
Ms. Gurpreet Kaur said, “Developing the art of effective writing is a skill that once inculcated can make the students earn while learning.” Dr. Disha Khanna, the Deputy Dean, Faculty of Liberal Arts exclaimed, “Faculty of Liberal Arts is there to disseminate the best language acquisition to the students so that they can excel in the basic 4 skills of LSRW.” Gurdeep Singh Sihra said, “I appreciate the efforts of the department in arranging such quality workshops for making the students abreast with the latest trends.” Dr. VK Rattan said, “GNA University is always there to render the best hands on training to its students and the department has done great efforts in making it happen.” The event was duly attended by Ms. Kamini Verma, Ms. Marifa and Mr. Harpreet Singh- Assistant Professors in Faculty of Liberal Arts.
