Fire broke out in a department store at Kailash Nagar area, Jalandhar on Monday.

As per reports, the kerosene drums were illegally stored inside the store. Fire brigade rushed on the spot to douse the flames of fire. Three firemen sustained up to 40% burn injuries.
When fire brigade reached on the spot, they parked their fire tender near the shop and they began the rescue operation. Suddenly, a huge explosion was heard inside the shop and a ball of fire came out and three firemen got injured in this incident.
The owner of the shop escaped from the spot. The case has been registered and the investigation is on.
