Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh expressed profound grief over the demise of Raghuraj Singh Badnore (82), the elder brother of the State Governor VP Singh Badnore on Tuesday. Raghuraj Singh passed away in Jaipur after short-term illness on Tuesday morning.
In his condolence message, the Chief Minister describes that Raghuraj Singh Badnore was well known academician, a noted sportsman and, above all, a fine human being with a strong moral and social commitment.
The Speaker of Punjab Assembly Rana KP Singh has also pay his tribute to Mr. Raghuraj Singh Badnore. In his condolence message, Rana KP Singh said that Mr. Raghuraj Singh Badnore was a passionate teacher and sportsman, particularly a great swimmer. He said that the services rendered by him as Chairman of Mayo College and as the member of Board of Governors of Mayo College Ajmer will be remembered for long.
