J&K/Awantipora (The Stellar News) Anil Bhardwaj: Open South Kashmir Pencak Silat Championship 2021-22 organized by Police District Awantipora in collaboration with Pencak Silat Association of Jammu and concluded at Government Degree College Pampore which was inaugurated on 04-01-2022. SSP Awantipora Shri Mohd Yousif -JKPS as a chief guest accompanied by Principal Government Degree College Pampore, SDPO Pampore, DySP DAR and members of Pencak Silat attended the closing ceremony of Open South Kashmir Pencak Silat Championship 2021-22, wherein 300 participants of different age groups from different parts South Kashmir Range participated. During the closing ceremony SSP Awantipora interacted with the organizers, participating players, as well as respectable other sports lovers of the area; who have witnessed the closing ceremony. SSP Awantipora assured the participants that every kind of assistance will be provided by District Police Awantipora to boost the sports activities.
Besides platform to prove their talent will be also be provided. In a closing ceremony, SSP Awantipora along with Principal Government Degree College Pampore distributed Cash prizes/medals/certificates among the winners and distributes certificates among all the participating players. SSP Awantipora Congratulated the winners and expressed that Jammu & Kashmir Police is committed to give boost to the sports activities in the area and channelize youth energy in positive manner
