Jalandhar (The Stelllar News): BSF Sr Sec School, Jalandhar Cantt celebrated “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav” on 15.08.2022 with full patriotic zeal and fervour. Principal Mrs Sarla Mishra, staff and students accorded a warm welcome to the Chief Guest of the day Sh Asif Jalal, IPS, IG, BSF Punjab Frontier and the distinguished officers of the elite force.
The Independence Day celebrations commenced with unfurling of the national flag. It was followed by a series of colourful presentations, which included Group Song, Group Dance on Patriotic Numbers, Yoga Presentation and Bhangra. The audience was enthralled to witness the presentation of students.
A short cultural programme was organized in morning assembly on 13.08.2022 to initiate the celebration of “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav”. A rally was also flagged off by Principal Mrs Sarla Mishra to move about in BSF Campus with teachers and students holding placards and national flag.
The Chief Guest of the day highlighted the issues and challenges that India is facing today. He motivated the students to realise, understand and cherish our coveted freedom and work towards progress of the nation. The chief guest appreciated the endeavour’s of students and staff in putting up an excellent show.
