ACD B’La Reviews Progress Under Various Schemes at Singhpora J&K

J&K/SINGHPORA (The Stellar News), Anil Bhardwaj: The Assistant Commissioner Development Baramulla Shabir Ahmad Hakak held comprehensive review of various schemes of Rural Development Department with officials of block Singhpora and Sherabad Khore at Block Headquarter Singhpora.

The meeting was attended by BDO Singhpora and Sherabad Khore Mohammad Shafait, AE, REW Shahid Iqbal Shah, AE REW Sherabad Khore Sajjad Ahmad, Secretary Panchayats, Panchayat Account Assistants, GRS and Technical Assistants of both blocks.

The meeting reviewed progress under of estimation under Area Development Plan, SBM-G, UT CAPEX and Amrit Sarovars besides sanctioning of new cases under PMAY-G. The Key Performance Indicators of MGNREGA like area officer app, Person Days generation, geotagging, timely payments, estimation of new works and demand uploading were also reviewed in the meeting.

Stressing upon importance of Aadhaar seeding/Aadhaar authentication of job cards for successful NPCI mapping of accounts and subsequent Aadhar based payments through ABPS to job card holders, the ACD set deadline of 26.06.2023 for completion of pending Aadhar seeding and authentication.

Taking serious note of zero PDs in some panchayats, concerned officials were directed to ensure to upload demands of approved works so that PDs are generated upto 30th of June. He said that strict action including termination will be initiated against poor performing officials.

Regarding PMAY-G, BDO gave out that 285 and 62 new cases are sanctioned in Singhpora and Khore blocks respectively against recently allocated targets and release of first instalments of Rs. 50000 are being processed. The ACD directed for earliest finalisation of lists of left out eligible beneficiaries so that these cases are submitted to Administrative Department for necessary approvals.

He also impressed upon engineering staff to submit pending estimates and BOQs of works approved under Area Development Plan by 26th of June for ensuring timely tendering and execution of these works. Referring to deadline of 15th August for declaring villages ODF plus model villages, he directed for timely completion of requisite infrastructure for solid and liquid waste management. He said that special thrust be laid upon door to door collection of solid waste and collection of user fee in panchayats.
