Delhi (The Stellar News) Saksham Kalia: PM Modi while addressing the nation on the current situation of outraging corona pandemic stated that from now centre government will ensure the 75% purchase of total vaccines from manufacturing companies. He announced that from 21st June Centre will provide free vaccine jabs for all above age 18years.
PM also ordered all private hospitals for not charging vaccine doses more than 150rs/dose from the original vaccine price as service charge. He also classified the responsibility of checking its implementation to State Governments.
He also hit out the opposition parties led State Governments for indulging in “state politics”. In the way to decreasing corona cases in the country, different suggestion and advices came before the central government, different demands started being made, referring the demand of decentralization by various state Governments.
He also endorses the Centre Government’s policy (Pradhan Mantri Jan Kalyan Yojna) for persistently providing free ration to 80cr people from the start of lockdown and extended the scheme period till Diwali.
PM spoke about the speed of vaccination drive in the country and took his concern to the situation if there is unavailability of India vaccines in the country. He also said that, in history India always depended on foreign vaccines to start vaccination drives within the country like for polio, chicken pox etc.
He mentioned the production of various vaccines in country by 7 different companies from which 3 are at advanced trial stage and reiterated the Centre’s claim of increasing production of vaccine.
Modi added that, from 16th January to the end of April, vaccination drive was undergoing in the supervision of Centre Government. But with the increase in demand of transferring some responsibility to State Government’s, centre gave freedom to State Govt’s to procure 25% of vaccines.
But from now Centre Government will also bear the responsibility of 25% of the work related to state governments and this will be implemented in upcoming 2 weeks after the co-ordination with State Governments.
PM Narendra also mentioned the concern of various countries that how India will manage to control the outraging corona virus, but India fought together against the deadliest corona virus at many levels.
He mentioned the concern of many experts about the spread of infection among children. For this country has started clinical trial of two vaccines for the safeguard of children.
