“ACHE DIN”? PETROL TOUCHED Rs 117/Litre IN INDIA

Delhi (The Stellar News) Saksham Kalia: India is facing a rapid hike in Petrol prices, despite of the less international crude oil prices. Indian people changed their government in centre to get some relief from record petrol price hikes under Dr Manmohan Singh Government and PM Modi promised each and every citizen that he will provide “ache din”. In these “ache din”, economy would be on record high, Petrol prices would be economical and pocket friendly and Indian poverty will be record low.

But the promise was may be for some corporate or business men people as they are enjoying the policies of PM Modi by selling petrol prices up to Rs 117/litre record price in Rajasthan’s Ganganagar Distict. While in Punjab the Petrol price is RS 108/Litre and in Delhi it is Rs 106/Litre.

Amid the hike in fuel prices, other prices of essential things are also boosting in the country. Vegetable prices are killing the pockets of common men and is making difficult for middle class to manage their budgets.

But as middle class is the class which always got spoiled by the governments for taking tax and spending their tax on other classes. Middle class has the biggest tax payers and is the biggest consumer of petrol. Petrol as essential thing for the people has utmost importance for travelling, exporting, importing and other things.

Government is taking Petrol and Diesel as a tax generating product and is exceeding the prices as much as possible. Without considering the pocket capacity of people, government is increasing the taxes and is not giving any clarification for the price hikes.

Previously the government claimed that the price hikes are amid the high fuel prices in international markets but the truth is that the prices are low then the Dr Manmohan singh government tenure. Meanwhile Government is busy in blaming the last government and is taking credit for other policies.
