Kargil(The Stellar News): The 1st Ladakh State Refree Seminar in Taekwondo for new Refrees of UT Ladakh was inugurated by District Youth Service and Sports Officer Kargil Muhammad Hussain Rehnuma at Indoor Stadium Kargil. More than 11 black belt holders are participating in the Refree Seminar. The Seminar is conducted by Ladakh Taekwondo Association under the overall supervision of Technical Expert and International Refree Zaheer Abass Khan 4th Dan Black Belt.
Mohammad Hussain Rehnuma while interacting with the players said that Taekwondo is the only Olympic Game which has brought laurels for UT Ladakh at National and International Level and players have even represented India at international Junior level championships. He further said that Taekwondo Has flourished under the leadership of Gulzar Hussain Munshi in the last 22 years in Ladakh and the team efforts has resulted dozens of International and National Players.
He congratulated Ladakh Taekwondo Association for organizing the first State Refree Seminar before the 1st Ladakh UT Taekwondo Championship which is a great Achivement. Gulzar Hussain Munshi thanking President India Taekwondo Namdev Shirgaonkar for giving permission to conduct the 1st Ladakh UT Taekwondo Championship and said that the President has assured to be present on the Final of the State Championship.
He hoped that the new Refree Team will show excellent judgment during the upcoming event and will excell at all level.
On this occasion President Ladakh Kaza Qurash Association & General Secretary District Kargil Olympic Association Syed Mehraj Shah, President Ladakh Adventure Sports and Ladakh Qwankhido Association Shah Nawaz Var, Safdar Ali General Secretary Ladakh Wushu Association, Anayat Ali Shotopa General Secretary Ladakh Taekwondo Association and Executive Members of Ladakh Taekwondo Association were also present.
