Noida (The Stellar News): Srikant Tyagi, gone viral with his video assaulting a women got arrested by Noida Police from Meerut. Tyagi identifies himself on the social media as the national executive member of the BJP’s Kisan Morcha, along with three others in Uttar Pradesh’s Meerut district. But BJP denied the claim.
The Police got information on Tyagi’s location as he was constantly trying to get in touch with his wife and lawyer. He had reached Saharanpur on Monday night.
On Monday, bulldozers tore down the illegal construction on his Noida residence. Police have also picked Tyagi’s wife for questioning. The police picked up his wife from Srikant’s flat around 6 am on Tuesday. The Noida Police had taken her into custody on Friday and questioned her for more than 24 hours. Police have also taken Srikant’s relatives into custody and are questioning them.
