A massive fire broke out at embroidery unit in Jaswant Nagar, near Bindra Colony, Ludhiana. This incident took place on Tuesday.

Four family members were injured in this incident. The victims are identified as Lata Bhargav (55), her son Ravinder Bhargav (33), his wife Nidhi Bhargav (30) and their three-and-half-years-old daughter Navya Bhargav.
They were immediately taken to nearby hospital for treatment. Rajinder said the fire engulfed the entire house after a blast in the motorcycle standing near the stairs. Machinery and finished products worth lakhs were destroyed in fire.
As per reports, short-circuit caused the fire.
