Punjab (The Stellar News) Saksham Kalia: Punjab Chief Minister shared a post after the meeting with farm union leaders in which farmers and CM has seen smiling and eating sweets. Then in an update on the matter, Punjab government agreed with all the demands of farmers and enhanced the rate of Sugarcane Rs 35/Quintal, 2 Rs more than Haryana. CM in his post wrote that, “Happy to share that after consultation with the farmers, have approved SAP for sugarcane at Rs 360 per quintal. My government is commited to the welfare of our farmers. Jai kisan, Jai Jawan!”
After a strong uphold of farmers on the sugarcane rates in Punjab, Punjab CM set up meeting with the farmers representatives and okays all the demands of Farmers. Punjab Government also announced that, the pending payments of Sugarcane produce Farmers will be given in 15 days.
After this farm Unions also announced the finish of protests in Punjab against Punjab Government.
