Punjab (The Stellar News) Saksham Kalia: Punjab CM Charanjit Singh Channi has shown two standards over his thinking about protesters in last few days. After the PM Modi’s political rally got cancelled due to rode blockade by some protesters, CM Channi said, he can’t push them to empty the road as they were just protesting for their demands. By this he not just encouraged the protesters but also clarified that he has no responsibility if protesters blocked the way of PM Modi.
CM Channi’s statement means he can’t allow his police to act against the protesters but then how can he allow police to arrest ETT teachers who were protesting in the political rally of CM Channi.
One month ago, clips got viral which clearly shows that how Police is smashing teachers and taking them into custody. So, double standards for both the incidents can be clearly seen.
