Punjab (The Stellar News) Saksham Kalia: AAP Chief Ministerial candidate for Punjab Bhagwant Mann has appealed 3 crore people of Punjab to join him in his oath ceremony to be held on 16th march in Bhagat Singh’s village, Khatkar kalan. Bhagwant Mann in a video tweet requested all Punjabis to come in large numbers in his oath taking ceremony.
In the video tweeted by the AAP leader, he said: “On 16 March, in Khatkar Kalan, the oath ceremony for the Punjab chief minister will take place. Not just me, the state’s 3 crore plus population will take oath with me. We will together carry forward the legacy of freedom fighter Bhagat Singh. I won’t be taking the oath alone. All of you will take the CM’s oath. This will be your government.” Khatkar Kalan is freeedom fighter Bhagat Singh’s ancestral village.
Mann further requested, “Plz come on 10 am in Khatkar Kalan, for encouraging your brother.” He added, “I also request all women to wear saffron Duppatas and all men to wear saffron turbans, Saffron hold a significance in Sikhism. We will paint Khatkar Kalan saffron that day”.
