RAILWAY WARNED PUNJAB TO STOP ILLEGAL MINING CONCERNING RAIL BRIDGE COLLAPSE

Punjab (The Stellar News) Saksham Kalia: Indian Railway in its recent warning to Punjab Government asks to do something of illegal mining on Jammu and Himachal route as concerning the mining making rail bridges weaker.

In a letter to Punjab Government from Railway mentioned the railway route of Pathankot and Jalandhar. As per railway, near Chakki river of Pathankot two bridges are very important and on 31st July due to mining bridge number 32 was damaged in floods.

And same is happened on the Bridge number 232 where both sides of bridge are damaged for the same reason, where the bridge connecting Punjab and Himachal already collapsed due to heavy floods.
