GNA University Signed MoU with Food Industry Capacity & Skill Initiative

Phagwara (The Stellar News), GNA University Phagwara signed a MoU between GNA Centre of Excellence for CulinaryArts and Skill Initiative. The purpose of this MOU was to establish a framework forcollaboration and cooperation in order to promote academic and research, professional development and certification for faculty and students, curriculum development, webinars and placements for mutual interest.

The representatives from Dr. VK Rattan, the Vice-Chancellor, Dr. Hemant Sharma, the Pro Vice-Chancellor, Mr. Kunal Bains, Deputy Registrar, Dr. Monika Hanspal, Dean Academics and Dr. Deepak Kumar, Dean School of Hospitality and the representatives from Food Industry Capacity by Ms. Puspita Rana- Manager Industry and Placement and Mr. Shafat Khan- Deputy Manager Curriculum design and development. This MOU will be initially valid for 3 years and further renewable.

Dr. Deepak Kumar, Dean School of Hospitality have been appointed as liaison officer for GNA University and Ms. Puspita Rana- Manager Industry and Placement for FICSI.

S. Gurdeep Singh Sihra, the Pro-Chancellor expressed his pleasure on this occasion and appreciated the team efforts for this progressive step for the benefit of students.
