Captain of Indian women’s cricket team, Harmanpreet Kaur was inducted as DSP of Punjab Police on Thursday. Chief Minister of Punjab Captain Amarinder Singh and DGP Suresh Arora has congratulated her for this achievement.

Captain Amarinder Singh tweeted that, “Proud to join DGP Suresh Arora and pinning the stars on the uniform of this youth cricketer Harmanpreet Kaur”. He added, “This lady has done us proud and I’m confident she’ll continue to do so. My best wishes are with her.”
