Martyrs day is used to celebrate on 23rd March every year in memory of three freedom fighters who sacrificed their lives for the country. Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev were hanged in Lahore jail on March 23, 1931.

Bhagat Singh was born on 28th September 1907 and died at the young age of 23 on 23rd March 1931. His sacrifice made him an icon for the young generation. The main aim of martyr’s day celebration is to aware the young generation about the sacrifices of our great freedom fighters.
