Kargil: As a part of the sustained cleanliness drive under Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, the employees of Irrigation department led Executive Engineer Mohammad Hassan along with volunteers carried out the cleanliness drive in Dass Daithang area of Kargil Town.
During the drive All the filth and waste was cleared up, and the officers and officials enlightened the people ofnthe area about the need of cleanliness and hygiene for healthy living.
Mohd Hassan while talking on this occasion said that the department has been strictly monitoring the defaulters who are dumping waste, debris and garbage along the river bank and anyone found guilty will be prosecuted as per Law.
Pertinently, the District Administration has chalked out a detailed cleanliness drive schedule for the municipal limits of Kargil Town as well as all sub divisions and blocks across the district during the 10 day cleanliness drive which is scheduled to culminate on 14th August, 2021.
