BRICS REITERATED INDIA’s DIALOGUE OF PEACE IN AFGANISTAN

Delhi (The Stellar News) Saksham Kalia: In the 13th meeting of BRICS nations (Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa) reiterated the dialogue of India which includes the maintaining peace in Afganistan and upholding human rights. The respective nations condemned the terrorists attack on Kabul airport that resulted in a large number of deaths and injuries.

The meeting was chaired by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who said that the recently captured country Afganistan should not become threat for its neighboring countries and source of drug trafficking and terrorism.

 “We follow with concern the latest developments in Afghanistan. We call for refraining from violence and settling the situation by peaceful means. We stress the need to contribute to fostering an inclusive intra-Afghan dialogue so as to ensure stability, civil peace, law and order in the country,” said the declaration.

Russsian President Vladimir Putin, also asserted that the Afganistan should not become threat for other neighboring countries. He also said that, “The citizens of Afghanistan have fought for decades and deserve the right to define what they will look like. I am sure that we can ensure development and co-existence while maintaining traditons,” Putin said.

While some other issues like climate issues and other were discussed by the BRICS.
