Delhi (The Stellar News) Saksham Kalia: In a recent report, it has been found that about 1.20 lakh people died amid the negligence relating to road accidents in year 2020. This led to the tally of deaths per day due to road accidents to 328 people.

Despite of lockdown in India during the year 2020, the record number of deaths are really shocking and concerning. The previous years data is also not so good, in 2019 the data shows 1.36 lakh deaths and in 2018 it was 1.35 lakh deaths.
In 2020 alone, there were 41,196 cases of “hit and run” while there were 47,504 such cases in 2019 and 47,028 in 2018, the report showed.
