Hoshiarpur (The Stellar News) Saksham Kalia: Hoshiarpur, just as other 116 constituency seats is ready to elect their MLA for next five years and this time more than 24,000 voters will vote for the first time and will use their constitutional right. Hoshiarpur district has total 1287837 voters from which 625154 are female voters and 662641 are male voters. About 42 are Trans and 80 are NRI’s. While 24,157 are first time voters.
If we talk about the Hoshiarpur city, there are total 192794 voters, from which female number is 93027 and male voters are 99757. While 3,557 are first time voters, 10 are Trans and 10 are NRI voters.
These voters will vote on 20th feb and will elect their representative for next five years. These voters will chose their representative from four candidates, Sunder Sham Arora (Congress), Bram Shankar Jimpa (AAP), Tikshan Sood (BJP), Varinder Parhar (BSP+SAD).
