J&K/RAJOURI (The Stellar News) Anil bhardwaj : Continuing with thee efforts for arresting of the absconders wanted in different cases, Rajouri police arrested an absconder in Thanamandi police station area of the district. Police said that Thanamandi police station team headed by SHO Shokat Amin and assisted by PSI Maan Singh conducted a raid at village Lah and succeeded in arresting an absconder namely Ajaz Latief son of Mohd Latief resident of Lah village in Thanamandi.
The man was accused in case FIR No 19/2019 U/S 341/354 RPC and was absconding since 2019. A general warrant of arrest U/S 512 CrPC was issued against him by the Hon’ble Court of JMIC Thanamandi and he will be produced in Hon’ble court accordingly. SSP Rajouri Mohammad Aslam said that arresting the absconders wanted in different cases is a priority of police and efforts are being made across the district to nab all such absconders. He said that a number of such absconders have been arrested in recent past.
