Amritsar (The Stellar News): On 27th Mar’ 2022, Shri Pankaj Kumar Singh, IPS, Director General, BSF along with Nana Patekar, Padma Shri and PV Rama Sastry, IPS, ADG (WC) BSF visited BOP Pulmoran to review the Ops preparedness. He was briefed by Commandant, 22 Bn BSF about the border domination carried out in their AOR. DG BSF along with the dignitaries witnessed a friendly Kabaddi Match between BSF team and team of BDS Sports Club, Amritsar. DG BSF complemented both teams for the highly competitive match and awarded them Rs. 25,000/- each.
Nana Patekar, Padma Shri interacted with border population and the members of the team and congratulated the teams for the spirited game. DG BSF during his interaction advised the youths to work hard and their efforts would be supplemented by BSF under various Govt. schemes implemented at border.
