Delhi ( The Stellar News ) : Amarnath yatra resumes on Baltal route in Ganderbal district on Tuesday, July 12, 2022, as it was suspended for 4 days due to the floods that claimed 15 lives and left many injured.

The fresh batch of the pilgrims left Baltal base camp for cave shrine. On July 8 the flood near the shrine killed 15 people with over 30 missing, which lead to the temporary suspension. The pilgrimage has started on July 11 via the Pahalgam route.
