PUNJAB GOVERNOR CALLS FOR LEGAL ADVICE ON CM MANN’s DEROGATORY TWEETS, LETTER

Chandigarh (The Stellar News) Saksham Kalia: Punjab Governor Banwarilal Purohit on Thursday has said that he will take decision over the Punjab Cabinet Budget Session on March 3rd after he has sought legal advice over the “derogatory and patently unconstitutional tweets and letter” written by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann in response to his letter sent earlier this month.

Giving response as an extension to the rift between the Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and Governor Banwarilal Purohit, Governor called the response of Punjab CM unconstitutional and derogatory. In a letter issued by the Punjab Governor Office, which includes the reference of the letter and tweets of Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann in which Mann questioned over the points and questions raised by the Governor.

The Governor in the Letter writes, “Since your tweet and letter both are not only patently unconstitutional but extremely derogatory also, therefore, I am compelled to take legal advice on this issue. Only after getting legal advice. I will take decision on your request.”
