Bhagwat Saptah concludes with full religious fervour at Gyan Ganga Math Sunderbani

J&K/Rajouri (The Stellar News), Anil Bhardwaj: A week long “Shrimadbhagwat Tatva Gyan Yagya” (Bhagwat Katha) was culminated at Gyan Ganga Math, Sunderbani with full zeal, religious fervour and gaiety. Scores of devotees from surrounding areas gathered during the seven days programme to listen to the divine acts of lord Krishna and true meaning behinds his divine acts.The programme was commenced on Ist of this month and concluded on 11th of April under the supervision of His Holiness Atal Pithadishwar Shri Shri 1008 Rajguru Acharya Mahamandleshwar Shri Swami Vishwatmanand Saraswati ji Maharaj.Along with this, Maa Bhagwati Jagdamba Murti Sthapna Diwas were also organized in the ashram during the eleven days long programme

Swamiji started the katha by saying that by listening the Bhagwat Katha, one can change his way of life to large extent.Swamiji further said that our expressions only give birth to falsehood and makes the world untrue ultimately.To carry forward the story, Swamiji said that God is in all, but he is also the most different, he is with us every moment. The Bhagwat Saptah involves reading, preaching, interpretation and singing of verses of the Shrimad Bhagwat and it was filled with colours of devotion, laughter, tales of separation and union with almighty.

During the entire function, Swamiji, the main orator of the katha, explained each and every aspect of the life history of Lord Krishna with the help of various characters who played different roles like Sudama, Kansa, Raasleela accordingly. Shrimadbhagwat provides that light which enables Jeeva (human being) to experience the wonderful freedom of liberation. On the concluded day, a langer was organised at the premises in which large numbers of devotees took parshad and also paid their full obesence towards Swamiji.

It is pertinent to mention here that three days “Virat Sant Sammelan” was also organized on 9th, 10th and 11th of April at Gyan Ganga Ashram Sunderbani in which Mahamandleshwars and Acharyas gave religious discourses on various aspects like importance of Dharma, Bhakti and Vedas in eveveryone’s life.Religion is the search for the original nature. Dharma is a mystery; There is compassion, there is dialogue and there is the search for the soul. “Religion is the name of the search for the self. Whenever we say religion it implies that there is something that needs to be known. There is some power or there is some secret”, saints added.The saints also threw light on the life of Shri Swami Vishwatamanand Saraswatiji Maharaj for their contribution in spreading knowledge to everyone by establishing various educational institutions, including Sanskrit Mahavidyalaya, in different parts of J&K.
