Jalandhar (The Stellar news): Under the “Swachhata hi Sewa” Mission, the important flagship programme of the GoI, initiated by Shri Narendra Modi, Hon’ble Prime Minister to fulfill the dream of Mahatma Gandhi to make a clean and hygienic India, Border Security Force, Punjab Frontier is actively conducting various events such as cleanliness drives, awareness programmes, rallies etc., to educate the citizens about the connection between a clean environment and good community health.

Oct’ 2023 from 10 AM onwards, BSF Punjab Frontier under the leadership of Sh
Atul Fulzele, Inspector General, BSF Punjab, organized “Ek Tareekh – Ek Ghanta” campaign at Govt. Girls Secondary Smart School, Ladowali Road, Arjun Nagar, Jalandhar Punjab. The programme commenced with the cleaning of the school premises / surroundings, disposal of garbage and motivating students to adopt cleanliness and hygienic practices in their homes, schools and surroundings. All these activities were planned and executed under the guidance of Sh Atul Fulzele, Inspector General, BSF Punjab. - Similarly, all field formations (Sectors, Units and BOPs) under BSF Punjab
Frontier conducted cleanliness drives in their surrounding villages, schools and
prominent places. The objective of these campaigns is to generate citizen participation in making our surroundings clean, maintaining cleanliness and proper disposal of waste resulting in making a clean India with good environment and health for the citizens.
