7-year-old Boy killed by IAS Aspirant: Body Stuffed in a Suitcase Over a Month

A very shocking incident found in Delhi, where an IAS aspirant killed 7-year-old boy and keeps his body in a suitcase for 35 days in North-West Delhi, Swaroop Nagar. The culprit is identified as Avdesh Shakya (27).

As per reports, the boy was missing from January 7 and missing complaint was filed in police station. The police declared a reward of Rs. 1.25 lakhs for finding the boy.

According to information, civil service aspirant, Shakya is former tenant of victim’s father Karan Singh for three years. Few months ago, Shakya was shifted to new house in same locality, but he was in touch with Karan Singh’s family. After shifting to the new house, Shakya used to visit victim’s house frequently.

During interrogation, Shakya admitted his crime and told to police how he tempted the boy on the name of new bicycle. The victim boy went to Shakya’s house to get the bicycle. During conversation, boy told to Shkaya that his father had refused him to meet Shakya, by hearing this Shakya got angry and covered child’s mouth with muffler and stuffed his body in a suitcase. Then he planned for a ransom of Rs. 15 to 20 lakhs from child’s father but he changed his mind. When neighbours noticed a foul smell from accused’s house, they went to Shakya’s house for enquiry then Shakya allegedly said that it was a dead rat.

When police arrived they found a body of 7-year-old boy stuffed in a suitcase. The accused was arrested on Tuesday and the case has been registered against the culprit under the relevant sections of IPC.
