Two terrorists have been killed in an encounter in Srinagar’s Karan Nagar area. These terrorist belonged to Lashkar-e-Taiba unit. Director General of Police of Jammu and Kashmir, SP Vaid confirmed this on Tuesday. The encounter between soldiers and terrorists is still on near Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) 23 Battalion headquarters.

Two AK-47 rifles and eight-47 magazines were recovered from the encounter site. Police advised to general public that don’t venture near the gunfight or encounter site.
