Stephen Hawking: All You Need To Know

Stephen William Hawking was a famous British theoretical physicist and cosmologist. He was a Director of Research at the Centre for Theoretical Cosmology within the University of Cambridge. He was born on 8th January 1942 and died on 14th March 2018.

Hawking was popularly known for his Gravitational Singularity Theorems and Prediction of black holes emit radiation i.e called Hawking Radiation.

He got married with his college friend Jane Wilde on 14 July 1965. But his married life was disturbed with many disputes. After divorce from Jane he got married with Mason. He had three children.

He was suffered with “Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis” disease which is also known as “Motor Neurone Disease”. This disease vanishes the neurons controlling voluntary muscles. Due to this disease Hawking was paralysed over the decades. He was a great example for the disabled people.

Hawking got many awards in his life such as BBVA Foundation Frontiers of Knowledge Award in 2015, Pride of Britain Award in 2016 and many more. Even, he wrote many famous books including A Brief of Time, The Universe in Nutshell, on The Shoulders of Giants, Black Holes, My Brief History and many more.
