Guwahati (The Stellar News), Nava Thakuria: Journalists’ Forum Assam (JFA) expresses grief over the demise of veteran journalist Binoy Bhusan Sen on 26 January 2021. For some years he was living with his son in New Delhi and breathed his last in the capital city. Sen (96) left behind his son, daughter and grandsons.

The soft spoken gentleman was known as a specialized sports journalist in Assam. Sen used to work for newspapers like Jugasankha, News Star, Uttarbanga Sangbad etc. He also authored a few books on various issues including Assam tea industry and its centuries old legacy.
