An impossible seems invention is invented by the South American engineers, they invented a Power light device which works with the help of salt water. The technology was developed by a Columbian renewable energy startup E-Dina.
The most interesting thing about this device is that this device is capable of providing power for 45 days in one go. The device works on the mechanism of reaction between magnesium and salt that causes a simple chemical reaction and generates electricity.
Only two cups of salt water is enough of producing juice for 45 days, based on the usage its users put it enough. The other benefit of this invention is that in this process the salt and water get separated. So, when the waterlight is no longer able to illuminate, the water that’s remaining in the light can be used for cooking.
The device can also be used as light lamp, as it’s capable of giving light for around two or three years which then by recycled. These devices are distributed to people in Guajira peninsula, a coastal desert at the northernmost tip of South America. The region doesn’t have connectivity to electricity and people live there are very poor.
These devices are capable of replacing the usage of kerosene lamps as these lights are really easy to maintain after its development. As per the manufacturer company these lights are becoming so useful for the people to whom they distributed them that they can even do fishing in nights.
