Chabbewal (The Stellar News): Dr. Raj Kumar Chabbewal, MLA from Chabbewal constituency of Hoshiarpur is in various headlines these days. Recenty, he has been made a member of many committees formed by CM Capt. Amarinder Singh. Just couple of days back he was the one of four leaders who have been directed to be present at CM’s residence to hear public grievances. Then on 13th sept, CM visited his constituency Chabbewal for foundation stone laying ceremony of government college at Mukhliana and distributed loan waiver certificates to landless farmers and labourers.
In a row, now Dr. Raj Chabbewal has been nominated as member of CM’s manifesto committee. Today, Dr. Chabbewal attended the first meeting of this manifesto committee at Siswan farmhouse of CM to discuss the guidelines and functional powers of the committee. I have remained connected to my constituent as well as all people of Punjab in capacity of chairman SC cell PPCC, hence I am aware of the issues and expectations of people and I will definitely put those into our manifesto, said Dr Raj. He also apprised Capt Amarinder Singh on the rising demand to wave off pending water bills.
