Poonch Encounter, IED blast, Grenade Attack by drones, still no success to Forces

Poonch (The Stellar News): Amid an operation against terrorists in the Bhatadudiyan forest of Mendhar tehsil in Poonch, Jammu, the army carried out two big blasts. According to sources, the blasts were carried out with an IED. It is being told that the military had found the hideouts of the terrorists, which were blown up with an explosion. On the other hand, the firing process continued on Monday after searching for the terrorists and identifying the possible hideouts. On the eighth day after the first attack on October 11 in Charmed forest and on the fifth day of the attack on October 14 in Bhatadurian, there was intermittent firing in the woods. The army has tightened the siege, but due to the dense forest, the army’s operation is progressing step by step. According to military sources, the geographical conditions in Poonch are challenging. There is a dense forest on the slope of the mountain. There are also drains in between. In such circumstances, the operation is being carried out with full precaution.
Firing is being done continuously on the identified targets of the terrorists. The army also used drones on Monday. Grenades were fired at the targets marked by the drone, due to which the area resonated with blasts for a long time. The operation going on in the dense forest is being carried out with state-of-the-art weapons. The army, which is looking for terrorists in the forests of Poonch, has not found a single terrorist so far. Bullets are fired face to face with terrorists, but these people are not coming forward. Instead, terrorists are dodging the army. The army suspects that there are one to two local guides and the terrorists, who are aware of the forests of the entire area and are helping the terrorists.

It is believed that there are such guides with the terrorists, who were making safe havens for the terrorists by doing recce of the forests for the last several months. To find them, interrogation has been done by the army at many places. These guides have complete knowledge of 10 to 20 km of forest from Baffliaz to Bimber Gali. Where are the hiding places in the woods? These guides have all this information, from where they can be taken out and where food and drink can be delivered. With the help of these guides, terrorists are ambushed from one place to another and attack the army personnel. Along with this, they are attacked by sitting in safe places. The army is interrogating several people to trace these guides.
