CEC LAHDC Kargil Congratulates Shahnaz Parveen for Winning Gold in Asian Sikh Games

Kargil (The Stellar News): CEC LAHDC Kargil congratulated Shahnaz Parveen D/o ASI Mohd Issa from Sankoo Kargil for winning Gold medal in the recently concluded Asian Sikh Games held at Gaurgon India held from December 16th to 31st 2021. HE also congratulated Farzana Batool D/o Mohd Baqir from Trespone Kargil for winning Bronze medal in the Same Game. Both the players represented India in the Sikh Asian Games and have made whole Ladakh proud at international level. Feroz Ahmad Khan lauded the role of Ladakh Taekwondo Association for providing better platform to young and energetic Players to excel in Olympic Games like taekwondo and continuing the spree of producing international Players from Ladakh.
He further said that Sports Associations should provide a better platform to players at domestic level so that they can have a better experience before going to compete at national and international Level and assured that LAHDC Kargil will always be at the front to support Association who are helping in grooming such talents. Meanwhile President Gulazar Hussain Munshi congratulating the players and their parents said that Ladakh taekwondo Association has produced Dozens of International Players and National Players and one of the players has been benefited with Government JOB under Sports Qouta.
He urged the UT Government to prioritize the Games as per Government of India Norms with Categorizing Games as per Olympic Games, Non Olympic Games and Indigenous Games which will help and motivate the players. General Secretary Ladakh taekwondo Association Anayat Ali while talking to Media Said, that Shahnaz Parveen has been one of the best players of Ladakh taekwondo Association and she has been selected for World University Games and has been training under the able guidance of International Coach Master Atul Pangotra.
He thanked Master Atul Pangotra for giving world class training to Shahnaz Parveen and hoped that he will prepare Shahnaz Parveen for the upcoming University games and World University Games. Master Atul Pangotra has given numerous International players and recently his Para Player Chandeep Singh has won his 2nd Silver medal for India in World Para Taekwondo Championship.
