Vehicle theft case solved by PS Bahu Fort Jammu, Stolen vehicles worth Rs 40 lakhs recovered

J&K/JAMMU (The Stellar News)Anil Bhardwaj: Two thieves involved in multiple vehicle thefts in Narwal area have been arrested and stolen vehicles worth Rs 40 lakhs have been recovered from their possession. On the basis of the complaint lodged at PP Narwal by Dhiraj Jamwal S/O Rashpal Singh Jamwal R/o Sadyal Kharamadhana Samba about theft of his truck bearing Reg No JK02BG/5942 . On this information, a case FIR No. 73/2022 U/S 379 IPC got registered at PS Bahu Fort . After this special police teams of PS Bahu Fort under the supervision of SDPO East Syed Zaheer Abbas Jafari were constituted. A team led by SHO PS Bahu Fort Inspr Nayat Ali assisted by I/C PP Narwal SI Achal Rana did strenuous efforts and with the help of technical support finally rounded up two suspects namely

Kamal Kishore S/o Chuni Lal R/o Majalta Jammu. During sustained questioning, accused confessed their involvement in the above case and on their disclosure stolen truck was recovered from their possession. Also, they confessed their involvement in an earlier theft case in case FIR No. 116/2021 U/S 379 IPC of PS Bahu Fort and therefore one Tanker bearing Registration No. JK02AG/3754 worth Rs 20 lakhs involved in this case was also recovered from their possession.
Further investigation of the case is going on.
