J&K/DODA (The Stellar News), Anil Bhardwaj: Continuing its drive to arrest absconders /wanted criminals, Doda Police has arrested one absconder today on 28th of March-2022, who was wanted in a number of criminal cases and was evading arrest since long.While giving details, Police said that one absconder namely Lekh Raj S/O Madhu Ram R/O Ranote Malwana Doda was wanted in criminal cases bearing FIR No. 204/2014, 279/2016 and FIR No. 157/2020 which were registered against him at Police Station Doda and challaned in the Court of Law but he was evading arrest since long. A special drive was launched by Police in which besides human surveillance, inputs were generated by using own sources regarding movement of the said absconder in the area and to track him.
Ultimately, after receiving specific information about his presence, a Police team headed by SHO PS Doda, Arun Prakash, arrested him from Malwana area of Doda and after producing him before the Hon’ble Court he was lodged in District Jail Bhaderwah by the order of Hon’ble Court.
