J&K/DODA (The Stellar News), Anil Bhardwaj: Continuing its drive to tighten the noose of drug peddlers, Doda Police has booked two notorious drug peddler in Bhaderwah and lodged them in District Jail Bhaderwah as preventive detention. While giving details, Police said that a number of complaints were being received at Police Station Bhaderwah regarding involvement of these two persons namely Irfan Ahmed S/O Imtaiz Ahmed R/O Ameera Nagar Bhaderwah and Tazeem Hussain S/O Mohd Sakhi R/O Chanote Bhaderwah in drug peddling.
Acting upon the complaint, a detailed report of their involvement in drug peddling was prepared by Police and a team of Police Station led by Inspector Jatinder Singh Rakwal, SHO PS Bhaderwah arrested both the notorious drug Peddlers and produced them before the Executive Magistrate 1st Class Bhaderwah, where from they were sent to District Jail Bhaderwah under preventive detention. Doda Police is repeatedly appealing the general public to extend cooperate and assistance to Police so that drug smuggling, manufacturing/selling of illicit liquor and other crime related activities are rooted out from the society and crime free atmosphere is built up.
