J&K/RAJOURI (The Stellar News), Anil Bhardwaj: World Health Day was celebrated at Community Health Centre Kandi to mark the foundation day of the World Health Organization on April 7, 1948. The event was organised as per the directions of Director Health Services Jammu, Dr Saleem Ur Rehman, and Dr Shamim Bhatti, CMO Rajouri. Speaking at the event, BMO Kandi Dr Iqbal Malik said that the focus of the Health Department is to provide quality healthcare services to the patients. The accessibility to affordable healthcare has ensured significant savings for the poor and middle class, he said.
“Door to Door registration campaign under SEHAT Scheme has been undertaken in the area to ensure that all eligible beneficiaries get their Golden Card. HAR GHAR DASTAK program is also underway for complete elimination of TB” he said. Mohd Ayoub Lone, Community Health Officer Kandi said that the health teams have done tremendous work during COVID management including vaccination and testing. “We have immensely contributed towards the good health of our people. On World Health Day, we take a pledge to continue working towards providing a healthy and productive life” he added.
