CP directs officials to clear pendency of applications, Zero tolerance against corruption and non-performance

Jalandhar (The Stellar news): In a bid to provide effective, prompt and transparent services to the people, Commissioner of Police (CP) Gursharan Singh Sandhu on Thursday directed the officials to expedite disposal of applications pending in various branches of the commissionerate police and ensure time-bound services to the people.
Chairing the meeting with heads of various branches, the Commissioner of Police (CP) said that the police administration is committed to serve the people of the Jalandhar and any kind of delay in delivering services to the people would not be tolerated at any cost. He asked the senior officers to personally oversee the process of clearing applications so that people could not suffer in the offices of the police officers or police stations to get their works done. Further, he told them to record the reason for inordinate delay in processing the application of general public.
Sandhu said that that Zero tolerance was being adopted against corruption and anybody indulging in the corrupt activities would not be spared by the Commissionerate Police.
