Gujrat ( The Stellar News ) : Regions of south Gujarat and Kutch-Saurashtra regions received heavy rain in last 24 hours which left 14 people dead. Disaster Management Minister Rajendra Trivedi stated that the 3 National highways in Kutch, Navsari and Dang districts, 51 state highways and over 400 panchayat roads are damaged.

Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel has directed the administration to carry out a survey of the affected areas. Rajendra Trivedi informed that 31,035 people were evacuated to the safer places and 18 teams of National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) has already been deployed for the rescue work and two teams are kept on standby.
