Hoshiarpur (The Stellar News) Saksham Kalia: On 24th July, 2022 Hoshiarpur politics witnessed a big melodrama as Central leader unconsciously opposed the working of Central development body, PWD (Centre Works).
Former MP and current BJP Himachal Pradesh in-charge Avinash Rai Khanna tried to repeat the same event that he did in 2003 and 2005 against the Central government of Congress for not constructing road in his constituency. But this time, he might had mistaken with the research work as BJP has its government at central level and the project of Mata Chintpurni road is under Central governed authority, PWD.
Hoshiarpur has its representation in Lok Sabha with MP Som Prakash, But shockingly he haven’t Visited even once to check the situation of Chintpurni road where people are suffering from last many years.
Khanna was in a bid to regain his popularity in area with his signature protesting style but got trolled in political groups for doing protest against his own Government.
The protest was organized by the Youth Citizen Counsel, but National leader reached the site of protest where people were agitating against the poor working of PWD Centre works and joined them in polishing shoes. Khanna in his address said, “This agiatation is against the blind and deaf government”. But he didn’t clarified which government is deaf and blind as the construction project of Chintpurni road is under Centre.
