J&K (The Stellar News): Doda Police has apprehended three bootleggers in two separate FIRs and recovered huge quantity of illicit liquor from their possession.

Giving details Doda Police said that it was learnt through reliable sources that two persons namely (1) Milap Singh son of Ram Dev resident of Maneshi Bhagwah and (2) Naryan Singh son of Shadi Lal resident of Kachwa Bajarni are habitual of selling illicit liquor and it was also learnt that they were in possession of illicit liquor for the purpose of selling in Kachwa Bajarni area of Bhagwah.
Acting swiftly after the receipt of this information a Police party of Police Post Bhagwah led by PSI Amandeep Singh I/C PP Bhagwah, apprehended them and (42) bottles of JK Special Whisky was recovered from their possession. In this regard, a case FIR No. 10/2023 under relevant section has been registered at Police Station Doda and investigation of the case has been taken up.
Similarly in another case bearing FIR No. 09/2023 registered at Police Station Doda one accused namely Shashi Kumar son of Tek Raj resident of Panchai Bhella was apprehended in Doda town by a Police party of PS Doda led by SI Ashwani Kumar of PS Doda with huge quantity of illicit liquor from his possession.
