Haridwar (The Stellar News) Saksham Kalia: On the ocassion of Ganga Dussehra, thousands of devotes visited Haridwar and took dip in the Ganga river. The pictures which were gone viral on the social media shows people in huge numbers gathered on both the sides of Hari Ki Pauri Ghat of haridwar and taking dip in Ganga river.

Ganga dussehra has a great significance in the Hindu religion and it is said that Taking a dip in the river on this day is considered a means for devotees to get rid of their sins and heal any physical ailments they may have.
