The century-old Shrine of Baba Fareed at Garkote area of Uri, Baramulla, North Kashmir was gutted into fire after lighting struck it on Tuesday night.

As per reports, during the rain, a flash of fire was seen at the top of shrine followed by a thunderbolt. This fire damages several parts of shrine. The major portion of shrine was gutted under fire.
