Accused Gets Bail in Dhadrianwale Murder Bid Case

On Monday, Jasvir Singh Kang, judge of the Additional Sessions Court framed the charges against the accused in the case of an attack on Ranjit Singh Dhardianwale in May 2016. The court was adjourned for recording of evidence of witnesses on April 9.

This incident took place in May 2016, in which Ranjit Singh had survived after the attack and Bhupinder Singh, who was travelling with Ranjit Singh was shot dead.

Harbhajan Singh and Mehar Singh, who were summoned by Additional Sessions Judge in the court submitted bail application, which was accepted by the court and left the accused on a surety bond of Rs.1 lakh each.

The accused had approached the court after hearing arguments on the application taken during the trial, after which the accused had filed their anticipatory bail petition in the Honorable Punjab and Haryana High Court.
